Slow pace

Hello, Happy Friday.

 

I entered 2015 at a slow pace, finding quiet moments, quite a contrast to how I started last year. I feel that I need to go even deeper within myself to rediscover the real me.

I can see glimpses of the old me, some I like, others I don't, and sometimes if I'm really still I can hear the answers to my questions.

 

Quiet moments, I have barely moved or left the house for a week. There's always that moment between the euphoria of Christmas/New Years and real life. Sometimes that sinking sensation lasts only a heartbeat, sometimes longer, it's a contradiction in itself. The genuine happiness of a new beginning with the sinking feeling that I don't know what to do with 265 days of a blank canvas.

 

The last year I've learned how to pace myself, to not be so greedy, inhale/exhale and wait... listen for directions, hence the need for stillness. I finally understand now, my body, my mind, my heart communicating with me. I'm not lazy, I'm not lost, I was/I am listening to the answers inside me.
