Saturday Inspiration

Happy Friday everyone!

Today's post is all about how to spend a lovely Saturday in London.
Some of you already know, but for those who don't know, I have two daughters who are ten years apart in age, ( yes, I know, don't ask ). My eldest is Tatiana and she is sixteen years old and Talullah  is six years of age. So, as you can imagine, sometimes is hard to please both of them, taking into account their age gap. My little trick is to take each one out separately to do different activities. It goes like this: One Saturday with Talullah, the following Saturday with Tatiana, and the third Saturday the girls together.

If you want to spend a lovely Saturday in London, I hope you can get some inspiration from the one Tatiana and I enjoyed recently.
We started our day together at Covent Garden, an exciting place, where you can watch live street theatre. As a performer myself I'm full of respect for this performers, because street theatre is the hardest form of theatre. If you have a chance don't miss a show.
At this time of the year, Covent Garden is decked out with Christmas decorations, a wonderful sight for the eyes.
Pop in the Godiva shop and try their strawberries dipped in chocolate, so delicious.

Check out the glamorous Dior shop with their friendly staff ( where we meet lovely Mario, make up artist, who later invited us for a make up session at Dior, blog post to follow, watch this space ).

Walk around the market with all the hand made arts and crafts, maybe you can find the perfect Christmas present for a loved one.

Have lunch at the "Belgo" restaurant for their delicious Mussels. And for dessert have a caramelized apple from the street market stalls.

With our bellies full, Tatiana and I got adventurous and jumped on one of many rickshaw or tuctuc (a light two-wheeled vehicle drawn by one or more people) parked outside Covent Garden station, to go to Oxford Street for a bit of high street "retail therapy", we hit all the right shops, Forever 21, H&M, Primark, Zara, etc....

So, here you have it, a guide to inspire you if you have a teenage daughter, or go with your friends or even on your own.

Thank you for reading. You can add suggestions for a nice weekend in London on your comments.
